Why
From one player to another.
We made DealMeIn because we run poker nights ourselves, and got tired of the mess: sign-ups scattered in a chat, the clock on someone's phone, blind levels in our heads and results on a napkin. We tried spreadsheets and group messages, but nothing quite fit.
So we built the tool we wished we had — and we share it with others doing the same. Not as some big business, just to make poker night a little easier for like-minded people.
A tool. Not a gambling service.
DealMeIn never handles money. The app doesn't move buy-ins, hold the pot or pay out winnings — all money stays outside the app, between the players.
DealMeIn has its own points system — play entirely without stakes, on points and ranking alone. If you do play for a stake, the app can keep buy-ins under control — within local rules. We go into more detail in the terms and privacy policy.
The app is built for home games and friend groups — the classic poker night — not for commercial poker tournaments.
