Sign-in methods

You can sign in with email and password, with Google, or with Facebook. All three reach the same account — if you connect them.

Connecting more sign-in methods

Under My profile → Sign-in methods you can see which are connected and add the others.

This is the way to do it. Sign in the way you normally do, then connect Google or Facebook from there.

Why connect rather than just sign in

Your Facebook account often carries a different email address from the one you signed up with — frequently an old Hotmail address from whenever the account was made.

Sign in with Facebook without connecting first and the system doesn’t recognise that address. You get a new, empty account instead of your own, with no tournaments and no history.

That is why we ask before creating a new account: choose a method we don’t recognise and you are told you are about to create something new, with the option to cancel.

If you see that message and you know you already have an account: cancel, sign in the way you normally do, and connect from your profile instead.

If the email is already in use

Try to sign in with a method whose email already belongs to another account and we stop it. Sign in to that account first, and connect from there.

Forgotten which one you used?

Try Google first if you created the account with a Gmail address. If that gets you nowhere, get in touch — we can see what is registered against you.
